Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I loved the energy of the people here and their willingness to bring up the people around them. Everyone wants to see everyone succeed and is very willing to work with you and help you achieve your goals. I also liked that there is opportunity to pursue many interests, so it's possible to double major and learn about everything you want.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My experience at Mac has meant the opportunity to build relations with and experience a very interesting group of people within the student body. It's also meant the opportunity to be able to learn and grow intellectually, pursue the two majors I want, and be at a school that gives me the ability to be a student athlete. There's great support, and I'm fortunate to be able to play softball, receive a great education, and make some good friends along the way.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Life as a student athlete taught me the value of dedication, time management, and perseverance. Athletics have not only challenged me to constantly build a better version of myself, but have also made me more dedicated to helping those around me succeed as well.
