Started and played in 26 games for the Scots at centerfield in her first year campaign... In 73 at bats, Semro collected 23 hits (4 doubles, 1 triple and 3 homeruns)... Had 16 RBI's on the year and a .521 slugging percentage... Twice posted three hits in a single game (3/15 vs. St. Lawrence and 4/22 vs. Saint Mary's)... In the outfield, Semro finished with a .957 fielding percentage and 20 putouts.

Earned all-conference honors playing for Cary-Grove High School … Named to the all-academic team and high honor roll

 

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?

I chose to attend Macalester because I love the Twin Cities and when I came on my visit everything just felt right!

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
It has been such an amazing opportunity. I have loved being able to meet so many new people and being able to live on my own for the first time.
