Earned the Outstanding Achievement in First Year Chemistry Award... Chemistry TA... MAX center STEM tutor.

2021
Started and played in 11 games... Struck out five players against Concordia on April 17... Registered four assists against Saint Mary's on April 11... Earned Academic All-MIAC honors... Earned Easton/NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete honors.

2020
Went 2-2 with and earned run average of 2.62 in four starts… Struck out 15 and walked 10 in 18 2/3 innings… Fanned five batters over six innings in an 11-3 win over Lawrence Mar. 7… Also had three hits and scored three runs.

Before Mac
Earned first team All-Conference honors three times at Portage High School… Named first team All-District as a junior and made the All-Conference second team as a first year… Four-year letter winner… Helped Portage advance to the state semifinals as a junior… Served as team captain as a senior… Made the Principal's list from 2015-19… Also, a member of the curling team that made the state semifinals in 2017.
 
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I loved how at home I felt and how nice everyone seemed. I love languages and cultures and at Mac I think I'll get a chance to learn more about other cultures than I could have at another college. I also loved the chance to travel abroad.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My experience at Mac so far has been less than ideal and has forced me to adapt quickly to new situations.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Mac athletics, in tandem with the pandemic, has pushed me to grow as an adult and learn to be more adaptable. Taking life day by day has helped me a lot in the last year and in my life overall.
