Received Academic All-MIAC honors… Swam at 10 meets for Macalester… Logged a personal best of 4:34.08 in the 400-yard individual medley at the MIAC Championships on Feb. 21… Won the 400-yard individual medley in 4:43.27 and placed third in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:58.26 against St. Olaf on Jan. 18.
2023-2024
Received Academic All-MIAC honors… Placed second in the 400-yard individual medley against Hamline on Nov. 10.
2022-2023
Earned Academic All-MIAC honors… Registered personal bests in the 200-yard individual medley and 400-yard individual medley at the MIAC Championships on Feb. 15-18… Finished second in the 200-yard individual medley against Hamline on Nov. 19.
2021-2022
Produced four top 10 performances... Won the 100-yard butterfly in 59.97 against Grinnell on Jan. 29... Swam personal bests in the 200-yard Individual Medley (2:12.97) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:27.10) at the MIAC Championships Feb. 16-19.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester for its vast range of academics, its location and having the opportunity to swim.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you?
My experience at Macalester has meant the world to me. I am very grateful for the opportunities I have been able to gain. Moving forward, I am excited for what’s in store, both academically and athletically.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience as a student-athlete at Macalester has helped shape me as an individual by providing me with skills and other experiences that are valuable both in the classroom and in the workplaces I step foot in. It also allows me to grow as an individual, learning more about myself and what I want to accomplish, and further build relationships and network with others.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
My experiences at Macalester as a student-athlete was challenging but in the best way possible. Facing uncomfortable and comfortable situations both in and out of the pool and classroom allows me to grow as a person and be more confident. This comes in handy when facing similar situations in the real world/after graduation.
