Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
Macalester has always been the school that stood out to me. Ever since the beginning of high school, I've felt an attraction to the people, culture and ethics of Macalester. Its focus on the community, intense liberal arts academics, and location in the Twin Cities, are unlike other liberal arts colleges and makes Macalester stand out from the rest. I'm excited to finally attend my dream school and reach for my aspirations.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you?
Macalester's experience with its small class sizes and one-on-one student professor relationships have given me space to express who I am within the classroom and discover my character and identity outside the classroom. Macalester's experience to me has meant an exploration and deepening of my personality, interests, and activities.
