Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester College because of its outstanding academic distinction and its commitment to my development as a whole. I have always enjoyed the St. Paul area and love the beautiful campus and small class sizes. Macalester College and its staff have made me feel welcome and valued.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
Throughout my first year at Macalester, I have grown tremendously as a student, an athlete, and a person. All of my professors have been extremely helpful and have went out of their way to help me succeed in the classroom. I believe that a crucial element in the road to success is surrounding yourself with people who will make you a better person. Macalester provides a unique opportunity for students to make those connections with others from around the country and the world who hold the same academic and athletic ambitions. I have made many lifelong friends at Macalester and look forward to another great three years!
