Macalester College Athletics

Why I chose Macalester:
"When I visited Macalester, there really was a stronger feeling of community here than anywhere else. People care that you're here, and that makes all the difference. The Twin Cities offer plenty to keep you busy for four years, and it's hard to find a tight-knit liberal arts school such as Macalester in a setting as busy as St. Paul. Also, the chance to continue playing soccer for an excellent program after most young players have to give up the game competitively made Macalester my most attractive option."

What Macalester has meant to me so far:
“Soccer thus far at Mac has been super. I look forward to the upcoming season as, though we've graduated some excellent players this past year, the Mac men's soccer team has retained an excellent group of guys. I think we will be tough to beat. In other news, Macalester is still a very tough school. After completing what I expect to be my hardest year, I look forward to finishing up the requirements for my major and perhaps a bit of study abroad this coming spring. It's been a good two years, I guess I'll spend two more here at Macalester College.”

Macalester as a senior:

"As great as the past three years have been at Macalester, I fully expect this, my senior year, to top them all. This will be my final year of soccer at the college level so I will be sure to enjoy every moment of it. Academically, I have completed all of the prerequisite, introductory courses and can move on to the classes that interest me most. I know this year will be something special."
