Before Mac
Captained his high school team once and his club team five times… Led his team to a State Championship in 2017… Named MVP twice for his club team… Was in the top 10% of Washington state graduates… Earned the State Seal of Biliteracy.
 
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I wanted the experience of a liberal arts education in the setting of a city. In addition, I wanted to continue playing soccer at a high level which the MIAC offers.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
I have found a career path going forward that I am excited to pursue. Macalester has shown me just how interconnected academics and knowledge is.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a student athlete at Mac has taught me what it means to push yourself academically and athletically. Through my time here I have found my career interest and I have been setup for success to make a difference in my community.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
My time as a student-athlete at Mac has taught me to be resilient in the face of adversity, and how to thrive in all aspects of life.
