Made 13 appearances in his debut season… Registered a goal and three assists… Scored against Concordia in the 4-2 win on Sept 13.

Before Macalester
Named NEPSAC Class D Player of the Year 2021Received 2021 All-State honors… Scored 124 career goals at Wooster School… Received the J. William Nystrom, Sr. ’47 Scholar-Athlete Award in 2021-22... Recipient of the 2022 Jeremy Acheson Platt ’51 Award for dedication to the sciences.
 
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because of the community and the environment that I felt was created by both the players and the staff at the school. Not only do the coaches and players want to help you succeed and strive at Macalester, but I also felt everyone in the entire athletics department wanted to help you succeed all the way up to the Athletic Director, who knew all the players by name.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you?
My experience at Macalester has meant a good deal after my first year. I feel as though the community and the bonds that I have formed will only continue to grow and expand in the years to come.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Like many other student-athletes at Macalester, I have been able to adapt and grow as a student and as an individual as a result of participating in Varsity athletics. Being a student-athlete has forced me to become more conscious about my time, and how to effectively manage and prepare myself for both athletics and the classroom. Long away trips become a prime example of being able to maximize my capabilities both in the classroom and on the field. It has also given me an opportunity to thrive in a team environment which I am able to take with me into the classroom in group projects. As well as the performative nature of playing in a stadium for fans has given me confidence in presentations and other public-facing opportunities.
