Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester because it blends a lot of features together that I was looking for in a school. It has exceptional academics, is located in a great area, and also gives me the opportunity to continue my athletic career. There’s nothing more I could have asked for in a school.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My experience at Macalester has meant so much to me so far. I've met amazing people in my teammates, classmates, and professors, and have had the opportunity to participate in experiences that I would not have gotten elsewhere. Macalester has really helped me grow and thrive academically, athletically, and personally, and I'm glad I chose to attend here.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience as a Macalester student-athlete has had an impact on almost every part of my life, which is really the epitome of what being a student-athlete is all about. It's so much more than just playing a game. Whether that be personally, professionally, or academically, I've learned so many valuable lessons that have shaped me and that I will take with me for the rest of my life.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a student-athlete at Macalester has prepared me for future life in two main ways. It has helped me improve life skills like time management, communication, and work ethic. It has also helped me build a network and community of people who I can lean on for support and call my friends.
