Why I chose Macalester:
"I decided to come to Macalester for the liberal arts experience and the school's diverse student body. I also was attracted by the school'ss geography department, which has proved to be as interesting as I expected. I have enjoyed the small class size and the feeling that I am part of a tight knit community. The students here come from a variety of backgrounds and are easy to get along with."

What Macalester has meant to me so far:
"My last few years at MAC have been very rewarding. Academically, I have found a major, Geography, that I really enjoy studying and have taken some awesome classes in the department. Soccer has also been very exciting the last two years. Although the teams have not faired as well as we had all hoped for, it has still been great to be on the team with the rest of the boys. For my final year at Mac, I am looking forward to further improvement on the field as well as writing my honors thesis for geography. I hope that this year will be my best yet, and that I will be able to enjoy my time with my friends before graduation."
