Biography
Why I chose Macalester:
I came to Macalester because of the small class size, individualized attention, student diversity, and the ability of the professors to prepare me for medical school. With an intense interest in chemistry, I found that the chemistry department was far superior to any of the other schools I applied to. The decision to attend Macalester was made even easier by the fact that the soccer program has the best soccer coach combination in the country in Ian Barker and John Leaney.
