Why I chose Macalester:
"The number one reason I came to Mac was for the academics. The small class sizes and engaged students make the academics really enjoyable. Mac also has fantastic study abroad opportunities. Finally, I loved the location and the food is great."

What Macalester has meant to me so far:
Playing soccer for Mac is great and has been a welcome addition to my studies at the college. This year I hope to improve technically as a player and hopefully the team as a whole can build on its success from last season.

How Macalester Soccer has shaped me as an individual:
Being a student athlete has taught me to be a more responsible person. At first it was challenging to balance class work with practices and games as well as lifts throughout the year. However, now I feel as though I am a more organized person and am able to keep on top of both my academics and athletics with more ease.
