Why I chose Macalester:
"The decision to attend Macalester was  influenced  by the strong academic distinction, the emphasis that is placed on Liberal Arts  education, and the small but yet diverse student body. The long history of success associated with the soccer program, the excellent coaching staff, and the very supportive community were other factors that influenced my decision."

What Macalester has meant to me so far:
"Coming to Macalester, I expected to be part of a strong academic institution while enjoying playing for one of the best soccer programs. Macalester has, definitely, not failed to live up to those expectations. However, I believe the people you meet here make all the difference. Their friendliness and support for the soccer program make Macalester a very unique institution among other small Liberal Arts Colleges. With the upcoming years looking very promising for the soccer program, I truly look forward to the rest of my time here at Macalester."

Macalester through Senior Year:
"As hard as it is to believe, my time at Macalester will soon be coming to an end. While reflecting on my time here I’ve become only more convinced that attending Macalester was certainly one of the best decisions I have ever made. From an academic point of view, I believe that being in an environment such as Macalester, where you’re surrounded by devoted and bright professors as well as students, contributes tremendously to your growth as a student and an individual. Regarding soccer, I believe this could be one of the best years for the program. As we look to build upon our recent NCAA appearance, it is exciting to see how much talent and experience is embedded in this team. I am extremely pleased to be part of this team and with the help of our devoted coaching staff and the very supportive Macalester community this could be a very memorable season for all of us."
