What surprised you about Macalester?

The most surprising thing to me was how easy it was to make great friends.

What is your favorite aspect of Minneapolis/St. Paul?

It's nice to actually be able to use the public transportation to get to the cities.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?

The tough academics and practices of a student-athlete at Macalester force you to develop time management skills and really prioritize what is important to you. Therefore, the experiences I've decided to focus on have made me the person I am.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?

The student-athlete experience, the coaches, the professors, and the fellow students at Macalester have taught me many valuable skills for life after graduation, but I think the most rewarding aspect are the friends that I made through the basketball program that will be there for me after graduation.
