Appeared in 18 games with 12 starts for the Scots… Tallied one assist against St. Scholastica Sept. 11 and one goal against Augsburg Sept. 18… Totaled 1000 minutes on the season… Received MIAC Academic All-Conference honors.

2018
Made an appearance in all 20 games, including starting in seven… Recorded 13 shots on the season, four of which were on goal… Tallied a season-high three shots (two on goal) against Bethel on Oct. 13 … Also had shots on goal against St. Scholastica on Oct. 17 and Hamline on Oct. 30... Played 40 minutes or more in 16 of his 20 games played.

High School Academic All-Conference recipient... State Champion team member... All-State, All-Conference, All-Metro honoree... ODP Region II starter... Team Captain... scored 400 plus goals for club.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because I wanted to obtain the highest level of education to prepare myself for life after graduation and also to continue playing the sport I love in an environment that that will challenge myself each and every day.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
Despite being just a sophomore here at Mac, I have already had many life-changing experiences and life-shaping lessons that I will keep with me through the rest of my life. I can confidently say that I have never met so many brilliant, interesting, and kind people in such a short amount of time. The students, faculty, and alumni that make up the Mac community mean a lot more than the academics, sports, and activities that this college is known for.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
I think my experience as a student-athlete here at Macalester has helped teach me essential time management skills as well as leadership and teamwork skills that are crucial for post-graduation life.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
I think my experience as a student athlete here at Mac has prepared me quite well for my future in the real world. Not only has my experience as a student athlete helped me develop essential time-management skills, but it has also taught me how to be a teammate, leader, and friend. In addition, it has taught me how to handle both victory and defeat, which is going to be extremely valuable throughout the ups and downs of the real world.
