Macalester College Athletics

Chris Engelbret (Macalester ‘01) joins the Macalester coaching staff for the 2008 season. As a varsity soccer player at Mac he helped the Scots to three MIAC titles and three NCAA Division III playoff appearances. He captained the squad in his senior season.

Engelbret coaches for Bangu Tsunami FC. He has previously worked as a head high school coach for the Academy of Holy Angels and Columbia Heights High School. He currently works for the Richfield School District and teaches English as a Second Language at Richfield Intermediate School.
