Why I chose Macalester:
"I chose Mac for it's excellent academic record, the competitive soccer program and the small, personal campus. The people here are incredibly friendly and the lifestyle is laid back and easygoing."

What Macalester has meant to me so far:
"Although the 2007 season for Mac was shorter than we had expected, there were many positives that came from it. We have a young team, and many of us gained experience on the field that will help us get to the post-season come 2008. We once again had an enormous fan-base at each of our home games, which made it feel as though we always had an extra man on the field. This upcoming season I'm looking forward to bringing back the post-season success that Macalester had grown accustomed to, but missed in the past two years.
