Why I chose Macalester:
I chose to attend Macalester for the strong academics, competitive soccer program and international emphasis. I also knew that I would enjoy Mac’s urban setting, which is something most other liberal arts colleges do not provide. I feel Mac offers me the best opportunity to grow as an individual. St. Paul is close to home but still far enough away for me to experience something different than the West Coast. Furthermore, I know that in four years I will be in a good position having graduated from Mac. I’m looking forward to my next four years here and my hope is that I emerge a more worldly and knowledgeable person.

What Macalester has meant to me:
I have met many unique individuals that have helped me develop as a person and student-athlete. My classes have been challenging but also gratifying. I am eager to see what the future holds for me here at Mac.
