Member of Macalester’s highest men’s team GPA award winner in 2016 (Men’s Cross Country).

2018
Ran in four races during his senior season… Started the year with the Twin Cities Twilight, completing the four-mile route in 26:25… Recorded his best 8k time of the year at the MIAC Championships, finishing in 30:12.

2017
Participated in six competitions in his junior season… Placed 18^th at the Summit Cup four-mile, finishing in 24:12… Ran his fastest 8k of the season at the MIAC Championships on Oct. 28, completing the 8k course in 29:03.

2016
Competed in seven races throughout the year… Opened the season with the Augsburg Alumni Meet, finishing the 5k course in 17:32… Took 27^th in the Summit Cup four-mile on Sept. 15 with a time of 23:34… Recorded his season’s best time at the Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational on Oct. 15, finishing in 29:11.

2015
Raced four times in his rookie season… Posted his best time of the season at the St. Bonifacius Invitational on Oct. 17 with a time of 28:58… Placed in the top-45 at the Central College Invitational on Sept. 5.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester for several reasons. I was drawn to the small class sizes and the close student-professor relationships. I also like Macalester's location in the Twin Cities and how much there is to do, on and off campus. Most importantly, I love Macalester's focus on internationalism and diversity.
 
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My experience at Macalester has been influenced by professors who are genuinely interested in both the subject matter they teach and the success of their students, encouraging independent thinking and a study of material interesting to the student.
