How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Competitive running is hard, especially when you're also managing rigorous academics and a social life, and being a student-athlete has taught me not just to be resilient in the face of challenges, but to embrace the struggle and the process of pushing yourself to your limits, and to appreciate all the beautiful little moments along the way.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Seeing the growth of our team since my freshman year has been incredible, both athletically and team culture-wise. It's shown me that a lot of times in life you have to embrace every step of whatever journey you are on, and that you can push yourself to your limits and have a lot of fun at the same time!
