2018
Named to the MIAC All-Sportsmanship team… Opened the season with a top-10 finish at the Twin Cities Twilight, finishing the four-mile in 21:42 which was a PR… Took 11^th at the St. Olaf Invitational with a time of 27:14… Finished second at the KollegeTown Pre-National Meet, completing the course in 27:33… Put up a PR at the Central Region Championships (26:24) which places him 30^th on Macalester’s sub-27-minute club.
 
2017
Named to the All-MIAC Honorable Mention team for his 20^th place finish at the MIAC Championships, where he ran his best 8k of the season (26:42)… Ran his first two 8ks of the season in the 27-minute range, which helped him to a 21^st place finish at the Falcon Invitational on Sept. 8… Finished 5^th at the Summit Cup four-mile on Sept. 21 with a time  of 22:15.

2016
Started the season at the Augsburg Alumni Meet, running the 5k in 17:02 which was good for 18^th place… Finished in the top-40 at the Falcon Invitational, completing the 8k in 28:47… Took 29^th at the Roy Griak Invitational with a time of 29:26… Recorded his best time of the season at the Central Region Championships finishing in 27:38.

2015
Competed in seven races in his rookie season… Opened his career with a 29^th place finish at the Central College Invitational, posting a time of 29:25… Improved that time at the St. Olaf Invitational finishing in 27:59… Posted his best time of the season at the Carleton Running of the Cows, completing the 8k course in 27:31 for a 22^nd place finish… Took 20^th at the St. Bonifacius Invitational on Oct. 17 with a time of 27:49.

Before Mac

Earned first team all conference and all city honors in both cross country and track running for Madison East … Served as captain of the cross country and track teams … Played point guard for the JV basketball team … Member of National Honor Society … Recipient of Academic All Conference honors … High-Honor Roll recipient
 

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?

Because it’s got incredibly interesting, cool people. It’s also in the middle of the Twin Cities and has great academics/class sizes.
