Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I liked the atmosphere of the campus and was excited by the opportunity to run.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you?
My experience at Macalester has meant getting to continue to improve as a runner on a team full of my closest friends.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a part of the cross country and track teams at Macalester has given me a strong sense of community on campus that has been a safe place to explore who I want to be an individual.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a student athlete has taught me the importance of balance in my life. Succeeding in any facet of my life motivates me to succeed in all other facets both personal and academic.
