Competed in five races for the Scots... Registered a time of 30:08.7 at the MIAC Preview on Sept. 9... Academic All-MIAC honors.

Ran a 5k in 17:21 at Francis W. Parker Charter Essential School.
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I loved the vibe of this place. From the location, academics, and most importantly the people I met, I quickly felt a connection and a sense of belonging and I became very excited to attend.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you?
Macalester, and this team, has really helped with my sense of belonging to a community and what I can do for my own community. It has cultivated in me a stronger sense of what really matters to my family, my friends, and ultimately to me. I also get to run some fast times with my good friends, which is quite enjoyable.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience as a student-athlete has been integral to my time in college, especially in terms of my social and academic development. I have met lifelong friends and am making connections that I know will affect me for years to come.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a student athlete has taught me about the disicipline, cooperation, competitiveness and sense of fun required to be an adult, how to succeed and fail my personal goals, and to keep striving for better.
