Started off the year with a 13th place finish in the four-mile course with a time of 21:41 in the Twin Cities Twilight on Aug 30… Johnson ran a PR in the 8k with a time of 26:00 at the Blugold Invitational on Oct. 4… placed 31st at the MIAC Cross Country Championships in the 8k with a time of 26:34.
2018
Opened the year with a 13th place finish at the Twin Cities Twilight on Aug. 31, completing the four-mile course in 22:07… Placed 22nd at the St. Olaf Invitational with a time of 27:43… Put up a fifth place finish at the KollegeTown Pre-National Meet on Oct. 13… Finished in the top-50 at the MIAC Championships, crossing the finish line in 27:24… Recorded a PR at the Central Region Championships with a time of 27:22.
2017
Ran in six races in his rookie season… Started the season with a 20th place finish at the Augsburg Open 5k with a time of 17:05… Ran four 8ks in the 27-minute range, posting his best time at the Central Region Championships (27:30) on Nov. 11.

Being a student-athlete at Macalester has helped me develop myself mentally and physically, and given me the confidence to believe in myself and my capacity to succeed in the world.
