Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
The opportunity to play collegiate basketball was a big part of my decision to attend Macalester, but having one of the best small liberal arts educations in the country was the differentiating factor for me.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
It's been better than I could have imagined. After only a year, I've already made friendships that I'll have for the rest of my life. It feels good to know you made the right choice when it comes to a decision like where to go to college.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
College athletics require a level of commitment that not many other students experience. In combination with a rigorous academic workload at Macalester, I feel my discipline as an individual is a quality that has grown tremendously in college.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
I think my experience abroad really helped with my development as a young adult. I had the opportunity to explore new things and used athletics as a medium to meet others with whom I shared similar interests. Following my experience in Edinburgh, I feel well-prepared to venture down unfamiliar paths with the confidence that I will excel.
