The open atmosphere the college brings. Anybody can be themselves at Macalester and I really appreciate this aspect of the college.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a student-athlete at Macalester has shaped me into a more responsible and reliable individual. Going to school at Macalester is hard enough academically, throw on top of that playing a varsity sport only can lead to shaping of an individual into an adult. Playing basketball along with attending Macalester classes has allowed me to really strengthen my time management skills and grow individually and mold me for what real life challenges come my way.
