Biography

As a Scot
Men of Color Collective Organizer… Men’s Basketball Intern at NCAA Headquarters for the inaugural NCAA College Basketball Academy.

2021-2022 
Played in 24 games with 22 starts…Had a field goal percentage of 41.6%... Put up 291 points, averaging 12.1 points per game… Totaled 152 rebounds, leading the team… Had the second-most assists with 61... Tallied eight steals and seven blocks… Registered a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds against Hamline on Jan. 12… Made 28 points against Saint Mary’s on Jan. 22, including seven three-pointers… Recognized as MIAC Player of the Week Jan. 24… Included on the All-MIAC third team.

2019-2020
Appeared in all 25 games with 24 starts for the Scots… Averaged 34.4 minutes per game… Was second on the team in scoring, averaging 11.8 points per game… Grabbed 138 rebounds as a guard and dished out a team leading 105 assists… Scored a season-high 23 points against St. Olaf on 9-of-14 shooting from the field on Feb. 22. 

2018-2019
Played in all 25 games, starting in 24 different contests… Ranked fourth on the team in points per game (7.6) while averaging 28.1 minutes of playing time per game… Did a little bit of everything for the Scots, tallying 111 rebounds (4.4 per game), 51 assists, 17 steals, and eight blocks… Shot 40.5% from the field… Scored a season-high 14 points against both Northland on Dec. 30 and Saint Mary’s on Feb. 9… Added five other games with double-digit points.

2017-18
Played in 22 games, averaging 5.8 points per contest… Scored a season-best 12 points at Saint John’s Jan. 17… Matched that total at Concordia Jan. 27… Delivered four assists apiece against Carleton Dec. 9 and Augsburg Jan. 20… Also had a season-high seven rebounds vs. Augsburg.

Before Mac
Received All-Alliance, All-Conference and League All-Star honors at Tasis Dorado… Named his team’s most improved player.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Mac because of its unique opportunity to continue my life as a student-athlete in a heavily competitive academic and athletic atmosphere.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My experience at Mac thus far has meant growth and maturation in terms of my perspective on the world and society. It’s been special to meet and interact with so many new people from different places and backgrounds. And athletically it’s meant the world to be able to compete at the college level.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience at Macalester has been life changing in all ways. It has helped me progress as a person, athlete, and student. I am thankful for the growth of my Macalester experience thus far.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
My experience as a student athlete at Macalester has been everything I dreamt about. It has challenged me to be a better person on and off the court. I will come out of this four year experience, understanding what it takes to be successful at anything I do.
