Mike Babb ‘20 is in his secondseason with the Macalester men’s basketball team. The St. Louis, Mo. native was an economics major at Macalester and graduated in 2019.
“We are excited that Mike has joined our staff,” head coach Abe Woldeslassie ‘08 said. “He has a strong love for Macalester and will do a great job in helping to develop the next generation of Macalester student-athletes.”
At Macalester, Babb earned Academic All-MIAC honors and served as a team captain during the 2018-19 season. He also earned the Shield of Strength Award in 2019, given to two senior student-athletes from a men's and a women's sport who have shown commitment, leadership, resiliency and a strong work ethic in the weight room throughout their four years at Macalester.
