Isaiah Wallfred is in his third year as an assistant coach at Macalester College. He spent the 2007-09 seasons as the Head Coach at North St. Paul High School. Wallfred led North St. Paul to a 10-win improvement in his second season. Prior to coaching at North St. Paul, Wallfred was an assistant coach at The University of South Dakota. During his two years at The University South Dakota, the Coyotes advanced to the NCAA Division II National Tournament.
Before his time in Vermillion, S.D., Wallfred spent one season at St. Mary’s University and three seasons as Director of Basketball Operations at St. Mary’s College in California. In 2000-01 Wallfred started his career at St. John’s University. The Johnnies won the Minnesota intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular- and post-season titles and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen. He is currently a sales representative of SMART boards and technology for Tierney Brothers in Minneapolis.
