Why I chose Macalester:
The biggest reason for my decision was hearing Coach Jennison talk about the school's new commitment towards becoming an elite athletic program, not just an elite academic institution. Obviously academics are the most important part, but having top of the line athletic facilities shows that the school wants all of its programs to be top of the line as well.

Plans beyond Macalester:
If everything goes as planned, which it rarely seems to, I hope to be an MD with a specialty in neurology.
