Macalester College Athletics

Why I chose Macalester:
I chose Macalester because it was the best opportunity that would allow me to continue playing football and receive an excellent education. I knew at Mac I would not be taking the easy way out, and I would have to push myself on the field and in the classroom equally to have success. I also am a firm believer that the administration is fully behind our athletic department, such as the building of the Leonard Center, and truly want us to succeed.

What Macalester has meant to me:
Macalester has become a second home to me. My teammates and coaches are my family away from home, and are always there for me if I ever need anything. The friendships I have developed with my teammates will last much longer than my four years here. The classes I have taken here as Mac, as well as my interactions with students from all over the world, have really opened up my mind to new and different views on many topics.

Plans beyond Macalester:
I currently am unsure of what I want to once I graduate Macalester besides the fact that I do not want to attend grad school, and I would like to find a job somewhere in the economic sector. I would love to stay in the Twin Cities or at least the Midwest, but at some point in my life make it back to the best city in the world, Madison, WI.
