Saw the field three times in his rookie season… Completed eight of 17 passes for 64 yards and a touchdown against St. Scholastica on Sept. 30.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
My experience as a student-athlete at Macalester gave me a very practical lesson in professional adaptability. When an injury and subsequent Tommy John surgery meant I could no longer play quarterback, I transitioned to tight end to stay on the field. That shift taught me that your value to an organization isn't tied to a specific title or your original plan, but rather your willingness to learn new skills when circumstances change. The ability to objectively assess a setback, adapt to a new role, and continue contributing to a team's broader goals is a framework I will carry into my career, family, and the rest of my life.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
The sense of strong community within the football team as well as the coaches that really stood out.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you?
Really good, everybody is nice and welcoming. The coaches have shown that they are dedicated to the team and dedicated to helping us grow.
