Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester for the unique opportunities it would grant and the great academic facilities it possesses. The football program at Macalester was also a big draw for me, as it contains some truly great people and has the makings for an amazing program.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My experience at Macalester has meant a lot to me so far even though I've only been here for a year now. I believe that it has changed who I am as a person and continues to help me grow as a better student of academia, athlete, and member of my community.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
It has made me much better at managing my time.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
As a student-athlete, I have had to get better at time management when allocating time between practice, lifts, meetings, and school work. Communication has also been a skill that’s been heavily relied upon during my time here. Communicating important information efficiently to different groups of people at the same time has been a common occurrence as a Scot. These are two traits that’ll be important in any career and I’m glad to have developed them as student-athlete at Macalester.
