2011: Started four games in seven appearances for the Scots as a freshman . . . all four of his starts came in the team’s final four games of the season . . . Recorded a season-high four tackles vs. Carleton, three of which were solos . .  . Registered his first career sack in the season finale vs. Trinity Bible

2012: Started all ten games for the Scots in his sophomore campaign . . . Recorded 21 total tackles, which topped all defensive linemen . . . Notched two sacks on the season, both coming in Week 2 vs. Concordia (Wis.) . . . Forced  his first career fumble vs. Rhodes

2013: Started all ten games for the second consecutive season as a junior . . . Finished first among all defensive linemen and fifth on the team overall with 44 tackles (17 solos, 27 assists) . . . Collected a career-high seven tackles in win over Trinity Bible . . . Finished third on the team in sacks, posting 3.5 on the season . . . Tied for the team lead with eight tackles for loss . . . Registered his only forced fumble of the season at the University of Chicago . . . Recovered two fumbles, which also tied him for the team lead


Why I chose Macalester:
I chose Macalester because of the of the world class education I would receive.  I wanted to make sure i got into the best school possible, and if I could have the opportunity to play football that would be an extra bonus.  I also chose Macalester because of the diverse student body, and the sense of togetherness the community has.
