How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
As a student-athlete at Mac, I've become part of an immensely supportive community of passionate, driven students who don't apologize for chasing their dreams. A lot of people don't understand why Division 3 athletes make the sacrifices we do, which has made me feel like an outsider at times. It's a privilege to be part of a community where I don't need to explain the path I chose, and where everyone supports each other no matter what. I found my people amongst the student-athlete population here, which gives me the confidence to go out into the world knowing that I will find my people somewhere out there, too.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
To play football and be close to family, also it's a great school with amazing poli sci programs.
