Why I chose Macalester:
I chose Mac because it is one of the top colleges in the nation for International-related majors, with a lot of faculty and student diversity. Mac does this with a traditionally small Liberal Arts campus, which I prefer. I also had the opportunity to play football here, which is something that not everyone is privileged to do.

What Macalester has meant to me:
Belonging to the Macalester Community has definitely exposed me to many different ideas and viewpoints in terms of lifestyles. I feel that being immersed in such an environment has forced me to reflect on some of my old beliefs and biases, which is a good thing. Macalester has a little bit of everything, and I hope that the people I have met so far have been able to learn something from me just as I have from them.
