Scott Glicksberg joined the Scots’ coaching staff in July of 2022 as the offensive line coach for the Scots and will be involved in recruiting and other administrative duties.
Glicksberg comes to Macalester after serving as an assistant coach at Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, Calif., for two seasons. At Bellarmine he was the co-offensive coordinator and worked with the offensive line, running backs and special teams. At the collegiate level, Glicksberg had two separate stints coaching at Foothill College in Los Altos, Calif., and also spent two seasons at Contra Costa College in San Pablo, Calif. He also spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Redwood High School in Larkspur, Calif. In all, Glicksberg brings 10 years of coaching experience on the offensive side of the ball to Macalester.
A native of San Jose, Glicksberg was a member of the football team at UCLA from 2004-08 as a tight end and offensive lineman. He started five of his seven games played as a senior at guard for the Bruins.
Glicksberg graduated from UCLA in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in history.
