Reed Thompson will be entering his 12th year of coaching, and eighth year at Macalester College in 2017.
Thompson coached at Macalester from 2008-2011. In those four years, Thompson worked with the running backs and the tight ends/fullbacks.
Following his time at Macalester, Thompson coached the wide receivers at Irondale High School in 2012 and 2013. He returned to Macalester in 2014 and begins his fourth season working with the wide receivers.
Thompson graduated with a major in kinesiology and a minor in coaching from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul. He and his wife, Jackie, reside in Circle Pines and have a son, Eli (3) and a daughter, Riley (1).
