Jon Neve returned to his alma mater as specialists coach before the 2022 season. Neve was a kicker and punter for the Scots for four seasons, handling both duties as senior while serving as the primary placekicker as a sophomore. He received All-MIAC honorable mention in 2021 after ranking fifth among MIAC kickers in points scored and sixth in punting average. During his career at Macalester, Neve had a career-long punt of 59 yards at Trinity in 2021 while making a 42-yard field goal at Lawrence in 2019. He was Academic All-MIAC in 2021 while earning Midwest Conference Academic All-Conference honors in 2019.
Neve graduated from Macalester in 2022 with a degree in computer science. Prior to attending Macalester, he was an All-State kicker and punter at Mound Westonka High School.
