James Rosenbury is in his fourth year at Macalester as recruiting coordinator, and begins his second season as the offensive line coach.
Rosenbury joins the Scots after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Case Western Reserve, where he worked with the offensive backs, special teams and as assistant recruiting coordinator. During his coaching stint at Case Western Reserve, the Spartans produced three first-team All-University Athletic Association running backs and one honorable mention All-Presidents' Athletic Conference running back.
Rosenbury's coaching experience includes nine seasons at Division III institutions, including the University of Redlands, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and Grinnell College.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Case Western Reserve and was a member of the Case Western Reserve football team, rushing for 1,712 yards and nine touchdowns during his career and was a two-time All-UAA selection. He also earned a Master of Arts degree in higher education from the University of Redlands.
