Alex Foster is in his second year as an assistant on the Macalester staff. Last year he was a defensive assistant and this season will work with the wide receivers. Foster, originally from Estelline, South Dakota, was a four-sport athlete in high school, participating in football, basketball, track, and golf.
Following graduation, Foster went to Augsburg College in Minneapolis to further his football career. He lettered his freshman year and then decided to end his playing career to focus on his studies and coaching opportunities. Foster has been volunteering for the Mac football program since the spring of 2010.
“Alex has been a tremendous asset to our program,”says Head Coach Tony Jennison. “He has assisted our full-time staff in all facets of our football program and has done a tremendous job in all areas.”
