Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
Choosing Macalester was a pretty easy decision, because Mac was the best fit for me on so many levels. Academically, socially, and athletically it seemed like the best place for me to spend four years. Everyone I met from the school was extremely friendly and I heard nothing but good things from current students. I'm really excited to start my time here!

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
So far, Macalester has been everything I was expecting it would be and more. I feel I've had success as both a student and as an athlete, but just as importantly I've grown and developed as an individual. Macalester is a place where I can be honest with myself, which is something I really value.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My time as a Macalester football player has been incredible. I've had incredible highs and, because of an injury, some deep lows. But I've learned to bounce back and how to rely on my teammates when I need them. Because of my time with this team, I feel more mature and more capable in all aspects of my life.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a student-athlete at Macalester taught me how to honor and see through my commitments. It hasn't always been easy finding the time to perform at a high level in both school and sport, but I made it work. That taught me the importance of dedication.
