Received Academic All-MIAC honors... Made six starts in nine appearances… Tallied a 3-3 record with a 5.65 ERA… In 28.2 innings, struck out 20 batters… Earned the win against St. Scholastica on April 27, pitching 6.1 innings and not allowing any runs.

2019
Appeared in nine games on the mound… Posted a 2-0 record with a 4.12 ERA… In 24 innings pitched, Moscato struck out 20 batters… Earned his first collegiate win by throwing 3.2 innings and only giving up two runs Mar. 18.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester due to the size, location, and feel of the school. I liked the small liberal arts vibe that was there while it is still in a major metropolitan area. Also, when I sat in on a class during my visit it just felt right. Having only 15 people in a seminar style class for an introductory class felt perfect for my learning.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
At Macalester I was able to grow immensely both as an athlete and a person. I was able to put more time and effort into both baseball and my school work, as well as being opened up to new people and new experiences that have helped me grow as a person.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Macalester has given me lots of great and new experiences that have helped move out of my comfort zone and expand as a person.
