What I appreciate most about Macalester:
I appreciate the atmosphere at Macalester. There's a good balance of academics, athletics, and general social life; I wasn't sure how I was going to balance those three coming in, but it's been pretty easy ever since I got here.

What surprised me about Macalester:
I was surprised by how nice everyone was. As a recruit I thought everyone was just being nice because they were trying to get me to come here. Now that I am here I can say most people you run into on campus are just genuinely good people.
