2019
Made 10 appearances in goal for the Scots… Recorded 73 saves… Lawhead also received two wins in goal… Was in goal and helped defeat Bethel 2-1 on Oct. 2… Recorded a career high 12 saves against St. Catherine Oct. 19… Tallied 827 minutes in goal on the season.

2018
Made five starts in her sophomore season, tallying over 500 minutes played… Made 28 saves in net and recorded a 1.61 goals against average… Collected a 0.757 save percentage with a 1-2-2 record… Had a career-high seven saves against both Hamline on Sept. 11 and Concordia on Sept. 25.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester to continue my softball career and to also get a great education to put me on a path to a successful career.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a student athlete has made me into a more responsible and social person. I now have two teams of people that I can always trust and rely on, whether it is on or off the field. Being a part of the student athlete community at Mac makes me more competitive, which I hope to bring into the rest of my life away from Mac.
