Received Academic All-MIAC honors... Made 10 appearances for the Scots… Struck out 16 batters in 12.0 innings… Struck out four batters in 1.1 innings, allowing no runs, against Concordia Wisconsin on March 19.

2021
Earned Academic All-MIAC honors... Appeared in six games for the Scots... Tallied a 1-1 record.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester because it was the perfect fit for me. Mac has top tier academics and athletics along with a great community near a big city.      

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a student-athlete at Macalester has allowed me to become mentally tough. The experience of working hard to achieve a goal while not always succeeding has allowed me to develop a new found mental strength.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
My experience at Macalester has prepared me for life after graduation both personally and professionally. The Macalester Economics Department has given me the tools to think logically and contribute meaningful insights even as an intern. Macalester Athletics has reaffirmed my belief in hard work on and off the field. In my internship this summer, the hours were long but showing up early and staying late while producing high quality work did not go unnoticed. Personally, Macalester has taught me to think independently and trust myself even if others do not agree. Macalester has taught me more about myself beyond the classroom than I could have ever imagined possible.
