2017
Started four of his eight appearances on the mound… Post a 2-0 record with an earned run average of 3.62… Registered 24 strikeouts in 27 1/3 innings… Tossed five shutout innings in a win at Saint Mary’s, allowing four hits and two walks while striking out five Apr. 22… Fanned a career-best six batters in five innings of a 9-8 win over St. Thomas Apr. 17… Also earned the win with two innings of relief against Salem State Mar. 13.

2016
Was 0-2 with a 5.28 ERA in 10 relief appearances… Struck out 12 and walked 11 in 15 1/3 innings… Fanned four batters in two innings of relief vs. Carleton Apr. 3… Tossed 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief against UW-Stout May 9.

2015
Made five appearances on the mound with one start… Posted a record of 1-1 with an ERA of 3.46… Earned his first career victory in his lone start, holding Northwestern to one run on five hits while striking out three and walking two in six innings Apr. 28… Fanned eight batters in five innings of relief vs. Bethany Lutheran Apr. 23.

Before Mac
In three seasons recorded an 11-5 record with three saves and a 3.27 ERA for Madison West... Three-time All-Conference honorable mention… Also named to All-City team three years... Captained the team during senior year... Honor Roll recipient… Member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Mac because I can play baseball with an awesome group of guys, while getting a top notch education.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My experience at Macalester continues to help me grow into a more mature and disciplined version of myself. Which means a lot.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a Macalester student-athlete teaches you how to prioritizing things you care about, alongside things you have to get done (which are not always mutually exclusive). After graduation, I anticipate a busy lifestyle, but nothing out of the ordinary after balancing athletics and academics for the past four years.
