2012 – Jimmy started in all 39 games at shortstop . . . had big day vs. St. Olaf College on 3-31-12, going 3-for-6 with a home run and walk-off single . . . ranked second on team in walks (12) and home runs (2) . . . went 3-for-3 with three RBI vs. Bethel University on 4-10-12. . . once again, he earned honorable mention honors for his play in MIAC action . . . elected captain by his teammate for 2013 season.
2011- had a breakout year while playing shortstop for the Scots . . . earned honorable mention MIAC honors and was named the All-MIAC Defensive team . . . led all shortstops in conference play with a .340 batting average and .955 fielding percentage . . . led the team in walks (11) . . . had a huge day, going 5-for-8 in the doubleheader sweep over Concordia-Moorehad on 5-10-10, a series which clinched a conference championship.
2010 - saw limited time during his freshman year . . . appeared in six games primarily as a defensive replacement . . . collected his first collegiate hit vs. Dickinson College in on 3-15-10.
High School - comes to Macalester from Our Lady of Good Counsel in Olney, Md.. . . earned All-WCAC honors over three years in high school . . . voted team MVP on ’09.

How Macalester Baseball has shaped me as an individual:
Being a student-athlete has allowed me to form bonds not only on the baseball diamond but also in the classroom. The rigorous academics that Macalester offers have helped me to budget my time more efficiently in terms of schoolwork and athletics. Macalester has provided room to grow as an individual, an intellectual, and an athlete. With this blend, I feel like Macalester has prepared me for whatever challenges lie ahead in the future.
