Jeremy Velasquez played several positions for the Scots during the '07 campaign. He provided depth in the infield and speed in the outfield. He has also made 15 appearances on the mound over the last two seasons . . . Hit first career triple vs. Springfield on 3-11-07 . . . Picked up his first career win vs. Roger Williams on 3-16-07 . . . JV's first collegiate hit was an RBI double vs. Valley City State on 3-15-06 . . . During his prep career he earned all district honors in baseball, basketball and football while at Ft. Stockton High School. He also earned Best Fielder award at the conclusion of his senior season as well as being selected Athlete of the Year. JV is a member of the Scots football team and plays defensive back. Jeremy comes to Macalester College from Ft. Stockton, Texas.
